GUTTER INSTALLATION

CUSTOM-FORMED ON SITE. COLOR-MATCHED. BUILT TO MOVE WATER.

Seamless gutters protect your home by moving water away from siding, fascia, and the foundation. At Compass Exteriors, we custom-form aluminum seamless gutters on site (multiple colors available) and install them with the proper pitch, outlets, and downspout routing so they work flawlessly in New Hampshire’s heavy rain and snowmelt. Add gutter guards for low-maintenance performance that keeps leaves and debris out.

WHY HOMEOWNERS CHOOSE COMPASS EXTERIORS

On-the-Roof/On-the-Ladder Inspections: We physically inspect roof edges, drip edge, fascia, and current downspout paths—then share photos and a narrated video so you see what we see.

Custom, Color-Matched Aluminum: Seamless 5″ and 6″ K-style gutters, rolled on site to the exact length; dozens of factory colors to match trim and fascia.

Built for New Hampshire: Correct slope, hidden hangers with screws, 2×3 or 3×4 downspouts where needed, and smart routing to prevent ice build-up around walkways and foundations.

Optional Gutter Guards: Perforated aluminum or micro-mesh systems that keep out leaves, pine needles, and roof grit.

OUR SEAMLESS GUTTER INSTALLATION PROCESS

1

FREE CONSULTATION & EDGE INSPECTION

We get on the roof/ladders to check drip edge, fascia condition, existing pitch, and where water currently discharges. You receive a photo + video report with recommendations (sizes, colors, guard options, and any fascia repairs).

2

WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN & ESTIMATE

We design a plan for gutter sizing (5″ or 6″), downspout quantity/locations (2″×3″ or 3″×4″), and extensions/splash solutions. If needed, we include gutter apron/drip-edge integration and minor fascia repairs—then provide a clear, line-item estimate.

3

COLOR SELECTION & SCHEDULING

Choose from multiple aluminum colors to match or accent your trim. We schedule around your availability and New Hampshire weather windows.

4

REMOVAL OF OLD GUTTERS (IF APPLICABLE)

Carefully remove existing sections and ferrules/spikes. Inspect fascia for rot; repair/replace as needed for a solid substrate.

5

ON-SITE ROLL-FORMING OF SEAMLESS GUTTERS

We run a continuous aluminum coil through the machine to create seamless K-style runs—no mid-span seams to leak. End caps sealed; outlets punched exactly where downspouts will go.

6

HANGER LAYOUT & MOUNTING

Hidden hangers with long screw fasteners set at tight spacing and into rafter tails when possible. Gutters are installed with calibrated pitch toward outlets (subtle but effective for drainage).

7

DOWNSPOUT INSTALLATION & ROUTING

2″×3″ or 3″×4″ downspouts installed based on roof area; elbows shaped to keep water away from walkways. Discharge extensions/splash blocks or underground tie-ins added per plan to protect your foundation and landscaping.

8

SEALING & EXPANSION DETAILING

High-grade sealant at all miters, end caps, and outlets. Expansion joints/strategic breaks used on long runs to handle New England temperature swings.

9

GUTTER GUARDS (OPTIONAL)

Install perforated aluminum or micro-mesh guards, secured and trimmed to fit under the shingle edge/drip edge correctly. Verify that guards don’t obstruct roof ventilation or create ice dams. Full cleanup and magnet sweep to capture loose fasteners.

10

FINAL WALK-THROUGH & VIDEO OVERVIEW

Color match, hanger spacing, pitch, and discharge paths review. You receive a final video overview explaining maintenance and seasonal tips for NH weather.

11

WARRANTY REGISTRATION & CARE GUIDE

2-year workmanship warranty documentation provided. Simple care plan: seasonal checkups, outlet cleaning, and winter ice-management tips; guard owners get reduced maintenance guidance.
