1

FREE CONSULTATION & ROOF INSPECTION

We get on the roof to inspect shingles, flashing, decking, and ventilation. You receive a photo + video report explaining current conditions and recommendations.

2

CUSTOM ESTIMATE & SHINGLE SELECTION

Review shingle styles, colors, and performance levels to match your home. Estimates include underlayment, ventilation upgrades, flashing, and warranty options.

3

PROPERTY PROTECTION & STAGING

Plywood tenting shields fragile landscaping and equipment. Pools, patios, and walkways are covered or cordoned off for safety. Materials and dumpsters are staged carefully to minimize disruption.

4

TEAR-OFF & DECKING INSPECTION

Remove old shingles and underlayment down to the decking. Inspect decking for rot, delamination, or soft spots and replace as needed. We always re -nail the decking regardless of current condition.

5

UNDERLAYMENT & ICE/WATER SHIELD

Install ice and water barrier along eaves, valleys, and penetrations. Apply synthetic underlayment across the roof deck for added protection.

6

FLASHING & VENTILATION PREP

Replace or install step flashing, drip edge, chimney flashing, and pipe boots. Prepare ridge and/or roof decking to meet manufacturer specifications for ridge vent installation, ensuring proper Net Free Area (NFA) requirements are met. Upgrade or add additional ventilation components (ridge vent, soffit vent, or other systems) as needed to achieve balanced intake and exhaust airflow.

7

SHINGLE INSTALLATION

Shingles installed using a six-nail fastening pattern for maximum wind resistance. Installed per manufacturer specs to ensure warranty compliance.

8

RIDGE CAPS & VENTILATION SYSTEMS

Ridge vents and matching ridge cap shingles installed for proper airflow. Final detailing ensures a balanced, efficient ventilation system.

9

THOROUGH CLEAN-UP

Daily site cleanup and magnet sweep for nails. Debris and old materials hauled away, leaving your property clean and safe.
